- Pick-up on the coast. The driver comes to your hotel door on Agadir bay, or to your address in Taghazout or Tamraght, and helps with the bags and boards.
- Onto the motorway. From Agadir you join the A7 heading north-east through argan country, within 20 to 30 minutes of pick-up depending on where you are staying.
- Across the High Atlas. The road climbs over the western end of the mountains on viaducts and through tunnels. One stop is included on request, at a service area or an argan cooperative.
- Arrival in Marrakech. The driver takes you to your address. For riads in the medina, where cars cannot enter, he stops at the nearest access and walks you to the door or hands you over to the riad’s porter.

Coach, shared taxi or private car
There is no train from Agadir. CTM and Supratours coaches run to Marrakech roughly every two hours and are a good, cheap option for one person with light luggage. A private car makes sense from three travellers, with children or bulky luggage, or when you want to arrive at your riad door instead of a bus station on the edge of town.

Good to know: arriving in Marrakech by coach usually means a taxi negotiation at the bus station, then a walk with your bags through the medina to find the riad. With a private car the driver brings you to the nearest access point and walks you to the door.
Straight to Marrakech airport
