The ALSA line 19 bus costs 30 MAD per person. An official petit taxi to the city centre is quoted between roughly 50 and 200 MAD depending on which source you read, with a higher official tariff after 22:00. Our private transfer is €15 per vehicle for up to 3 passengers, fixed the moment you book. Below we show every published figure side by side so you can see exactly where the disagreement comes from.
| Option | Price | Passengers | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| ALSA bus, line 19 | 30 MAD per person | — | Every 20–30 min, city centre near Jemaa el-Fna |
| Petit taxi (day) | Published range 50–200 MAD | Max 3 | Varies by source and destination — see below |
| Petit taxi (after 22:00) | Official night tariff, higher | Max 3 | Legitimate, not a surcharge on tourists |
| Grand taxi | Published range varies | Up to 6 | Agree the fare before departure |
| Private transfer (us) | €15 per vehicle | 1–15 by vehicle | Fixed at booking, no deposit, free cancellation 24h |
We checked seven sites that rank for this question on the same day. They do not agree — and that is the single most useful thing to know before you land, because it means no published number is a rate you can hold a driver to.
The spread has three causes: some sites quote the metered fare and others quote the flat airport rate; some include the night tariff in their range and others list it separately; and "the city centre" means Gueliz to one writer and a riad deep in the medina to another. None of them is necessarily lying.
This is the comparison, unedited:

| kechtaxi.com | 70 MAD | 100 MAD |

We publish one price per vehicle, not per person, and it does not move with traffic, the hour or the season. There is no deposit and you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before pick-up.
We checked the published prices of the other Marrakech operators on 26 July 2026 and put them next to ours. Prices are per vehicle, not per person.

We publish this because nobody else does. If a route below shows a lower figure elsewhere, that operator usually quotes a smaller vehicle or excludes tolls — always check what is included before you compare.
Published rates range from about 50 to 200 MAD depending on the source, the time of day and where exactly in the medina you are going. The official night tariff applies after 22:00. A fixed private transfer with us is €15 per vehicle.
ALSA line 19 costs 30 MAD per person and runs between the airport and the city centre near Jemaa el-Fna, roughly every 20 to 30 minutes.
Yes, and it is the official rate, not a scam. It applies after 22:00. We do not apply any night surcharge on pre-booked transfers.
Three passengers maximum, by law. For four or more you need a grand taxi or a private vehicle.
Local taxis expect dirhams. Our drivers accept cash in EUR, USD, GBP or MAD, or card payment.
For one or two people travelling in daylight with light luggage, the rank can be cheaper. For three or more, for any arrival after 22:00, or for a riad inside the medina, a fixed-price transfer is usually both cheaper and calmer.
Fares set by the local authorities can change. If you spot a figure on this page that no longer matches the tariff board at arrivals, tell us and we will correct it.
