Casablanca to Rabat is 87 km and takes about an hour on the A3 motorway, or up to 1 h 20 through Casablanca's ring road at rush hour. A private car is €80 per vehicle, not per person. Before you book it, know this: the train covers the same journey in 55 minutes for 35 to 70 MAD, hourly, and on this particular route it is genuinely hard to beat. We will tell you exactly when the car is worth it and when it is not.
This is Morocco's busiest rail corridor and the trains are excellent. Conventional ONCF services run hourly, 55 to 60 minutes, 35 to 70 MAD. Al Boraq covers Casa Voyageurs to Rabat Agdal in about the same hour for 69 to 119 MAD in second class, with departures every 30 to 60 minutes.
By car it is 87 km and roughly an hour of driving — but that is station-to-station time versus door-to-door time, and the ring road can add twenty minutes at 08:00 or 18:00.
If you are one or two people going centre to centre in daylight, take the train. We sell the car and we still say it — on this route the arithmetic is not close.

Rabat is the capital and holds the embassies, so a large share of this route is people with an appointment they cannot miss. We plan those backwards: give us the appointment time and we set the departure, allowing for the Casablanca ring road.
We recommend arriving at least an hour before your slot. If you need the driver to wait and bring you back the same day, say so at booking and we quote the wait.
Landing at Casablanca Mohammed V and heading straight to Rabat? That is a different run at €100, with flight tracking and a meet in arrivals.
