No, and it is worth being clear about it. The Sahara dunes at Merzouga are 560 km away and need three days. Agafay is 30 km away and needs an afternoon.
What is there to do in Agafay?

Late afternoon into sunset. Midday in summer is brutal - there is no shade at all in Agafay.

Yes, and it is a good pairing: Ourika in the morning for green and water, Agafay in the late afternoon for the desert and sunset.

Closed shoes - the ground is loose stone. A layer for after sunset, when it cools quickly even in summer.
