Mohammed V (CMN, ICAO GMMN) sits in Nouaceur province outside Casablanca and has its own railway station: the ONCF Al Bidaoui service runs hourly from 04:00 to 23:00 to Casablanca’s two main stations. Terminal and flight information comes from ONDA.
Getting to the city
A train station sits directly under the terminal, with departures to Casa-Voyageurs and Casa-Port (about 40 minutes). For Marrakech, a direct private transfer (about 3 hours door-to-door) is the most comfortable option with luggage, or take the train via Casa-Voyageurs. A fixed-price transfer avoids changes and waiting.

How far is Casablanca airport from the city?
About 30 km south-east of central Casablanca, so 35 to 50 minutes by road in normal traffic and up to 70 minutes in morning or evening rush hour.
Is there a train at Casablanca airport?
Yes, and CMN is the only airport in Morocco with one. The station is on level -1 of Terminal 1 and connects to Terminal 2 on foot. The Al Bidaoui service runs to Casa Voyageurs in 35 to 45 minutes.
How much is the airport train?
Around 45 to 60 MAD in second class to Casa Port, Casa Voyageurs or L'Oasis, and roughly 80 MAD in first. Buy at the counter, the machines, or the ONCF app.
What times does the airport train run?
Roughly every 30 to 60 minutes, from about 05:50 until 22:50. Check ONCF for the exact timetable on your date - the last train is earlier than most people expect.
How much is a taxi from Casablanca airport to the city?
Officially 250 to 300 MAD by day and up to 350 MAD after 20:00, and those are regulated fares rather than a negotiation. Grand taxis charge 60 to 80 MAD per seat but leave only when full and drop at a fixed terminus.
Is there Uber at Casablanca airport?
No. Uber does not operate in Morocco. Your options are the train, the official taxi rank outside arrivals, or a pre-booked private transfer.
How long does it take to get from Casablanca airport to Marrakech?
About 3 hours by car for roughly 220 km on the A7, or about 3 h 15 by train with a change at Casa Voyageurs.
Is there a direct train from Casablanca airport to Marrakech?
No. You take the Al Bidaoui shuttle to Casa Voyageurs, then a Marrakech service, about 2 h 40. Total roughly 3 h 15 for around 138 MAD in second class.
How many terminals does Casablanca airport have?
Two, connected on foot. Terminal 1 handles most international traffic and holds the train station on level -1; Terminal 2 serves Royal Air Maroc and several partners.
How long does arrival take at CMN?
Allow 45 to 60 minutes from landing to the exit for an international arrival: passport control, baggage, then customs. Domestic arrivals are quicker as they skip passport control.
How early should I arrive for a departure from CMN?
Three hours before an international flight and two before a domestic one, and three and a half in July, August and December.
Do you track delayed flights at Casablanca?
Yes, on every airport transfer and at no extra cost. The pick-up moves to your actual landing time automatically.
Where does the driver wait at CMN?
In the arrivals hall after customs, with a name sign. Your driver's direct number is sent to you the day before.
Can I change money at the airport?
There are exchange counters and ATMs in arrivals. The ATM rate is normally better than the counter, and small notes are worth having for the first taxi or tip.
Is it worth flying into Casablanca for Marrakech?
Sometimes. Casablanca often has cheaper long-haul and more frequent connections, and the 3-hour transfer at €120 can still leave you ahead. Compare the total, not just the airfare.
