€120 per vehicle

Marrakech to Casablanca Mohammed V Airport is about 220 km and takes roughly 3 hours by motorway. A private car is €120 per vehicle, not per person. This is the direction people most often get wrong: the train exists and it is good, but it needs a change at Casa Voyageurs and the total comes to around 3 h 15 — which is fine for a holiday and risky for a flight.
CMN sits about 30 km south-east of Casablanca, which puts it on the Marrakech side of the city. You never enter Casablanca at all — you leave the A7 before the ring road and arrive at the terminal directly.
That is why this run is 220 km and 3 hours while Marrakech to Casablanca city centre is 240 km and can take longer once the ring road is involved. It is also why the price is €120 rather than €140.
There is no direct train. You take a Marrakech–Casa Voyageurs service (about 2 h 40), then change onto the Al Bidaoui airport shuttle, which runs to the airport station in 35 to 45 minutes for 45 to 60 MAD in second class. Total around 3 h 15 for roughly 138 MAD.
For a holiday arrival that is excellent value and we would tell you to take it. For a departing flight it carries a risk a car does not: one missed connection at Casa Voyageurs and the next shuttle is 30 to 60 minutes away. If your flight is at 07:00, or you are checking bags, that margin disappears fast.
The airport station is at level -1 of Terminal 1 and connects to Terminal 2 on foot, so once you are there the walk is short.
Including the parts each option leaves out.
| Option | Cost | Total time | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Train via Casa Voyageurs | ~138 MAD + taxi to the station | ~3 h 15 with the change | Holiday arrivals, 1–2 people, no tight deadline |
| CTM coach to Casablanca + shuttle | ~120 MAD | 4 h+ | Lowest budget, generous margin |
| Private car (us) | €120 per vehicle | ~3 h, riad to terminal | Flights, 3+ people, luggage, early departures |
RAK and CMN both advise three hours before an international departure and two before a domestic one, and three and a half in July, August and December. Working backwards from a 10:00 international flight, that means being at the terminal by 07:00 and leaving Marrakech around 04:00.
We will say the unpopular thing: on an early flight, leave earlier than feels necessary. The A7 is a good road but a single incident on a two-lane motorway has no alternative route.
Tell us your flight number rather than just a pick-up time. We work the departure backwards for you and we would rather argue with you the day before than watch you miss a check-in.
Landing at CMN and heading to Marrakech? That is the reverse route, same €120, with flight tracking and a meet-and-greet in arrivals.
Going into Casablanca city rather than the airport is a different page and price. And if Casablanca is a stop rather than a destination, we also run Rabat and Tangier.
About 220 km by the A7 motorway, roughly 3 hours. It is shorter than the drive to Casablanca city because CMN sits 30 km south-east of the city, on the Marrakech side.
€120 per vehicle for up to 3 passengers, with larger vehicles available. Tolls and fuel included, price fixed at booking.
No. You take a train to Casa Voyageurs, about 2 h 40, then change onto the Al Bidaoui airport shuttle, 35 to 45 minutes more. Total around 3 h 15.
Around 138 MAD in second class for the full journey, including the 45 to 60 MAD airport shuttle leg.
For a holiday arrival, yes — it is good value. For a departing flight, a missed connection at Casa Voyageurs means waiting 30 to 60 minutes for the next shuttle, which is a risk a car does not carry.
Allow three hours at the terminal for an international departure, three and a half in July, August and December, plus three hours of driving. For a 10:00 flight that means leaving Marrakech around 04:00.
Terminal 1 or 2, whichever your airline uses. Tell us the airline or flight number when you book.
On level -1 of Terminal 1, connected to Terminal 2 on foot.
No. Uber does not operate in Morocco. Your options are the train, official taxis, or a pre-booked private transfer.
Yes, one stop is included on request. On a departure day we would keep it short.
